My Journey

Luis Fernandez, Founder of CoreHR Solutions, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with over 17 years of experience leading teams and building strong workplace cultures across major organizations, including Best Buy, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Advance Auto Parts. His career has been defined by a passion for employee relations, team development, and ethical leadership.

Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Mount Olive, and a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. This strong academic foundation, combined with real-world experience, drives his ability to deliver practical, people-first solutions that align with both business goals and compliance standards.

Luis founded CoreHR Solutions to help businesses — especially those in agriculture and essential industries in Southeastern North Carolina— build stronger, more compliant, and more connected teams. As a bilingual professional, he brings cultural awareness and communication skills that make a real difference in diverse workplaces.
